Hi everyone
Input needed…. Feel free to take a moment to share your thoughts.  We need examples of first time experiences that youth can get through being a member of/participating in Scouting for all section levels (and some parent/leader ones would be ok too – just more focused on kids). Each example should specify for which section you are referring to (i.e., Beavers, Cubs, etc.), and provide some detail and context around the experience.
The experiences should not only focus on the things that might be considered the most exciting or challenging…. We want a good range or all the types of things that young people get to try out and experience for the first time while being in Scouting.
A couple of examples:

• First time sleeping away from home (Beavers have sleepovers)
• First time giving a speech (Cubs presenting badge work in front of the Pack)

Please send ideas and comments (by Friday May 15th  if possible) to mjames@scouts.ca.  Melissa will forward all input to the team that is conducting this marketing work for us.
