BP&P Consultation Sessions & Webpage

Folks, please see below a message from Brenda Sweeney and Doug MacDonald in relation to the BP&P Review and feedback next steps.

Dear NST Members,

The BP&P Review project has made great progress since we spoke with you at the National Conference.

We wanted to keep you in the loop about this work so that you can respond to questions from our members and other Scouts Canada stakeholders.

Starting Saturday, January 20, 2018, we will be kicking off 14-days of consultations for the updated Scouts Canada policies.*

Everyone connected with Scouts Canada – Scouters, youth ages 14 and up, parents/guardians, donors and community partners (sponsors) – are encouraged to participate. There are two consultation options: an online survey and telephone conference calls.

This week, articles in Scouting Life and Scout Scene will be sent out which explain the consultation options, provide the conference call schedule and outline how to sign up.

Commissioners (Council, Area and Group) and Council deputy elections officers will also receive invitations to participate in some special consultation sessions. Invitations for these sessions will come from directly from Doug Macdonald.

For more information, please see the new BP&P Review Project webpage.

If you have additional questions, feel free to email either of us.

Thank you for your support of this important project!

Yours in Scouting,

Doug Macdonald

*Procedure consultation sessions will happen after the policy sessions are completed.
