The Central Escarpment Council is again partnered with the Kiwanis Club of Mississauga and Kerry’s Place to send kids to Summer Scout Camp!
For the past twenty years Scouts Canada—Central Escarpment Council and the Kiwanis Club of Mississauga have worked in conjunction with Kerry’s Place Autism Services to support a 5 night Overnight Camp and TWO 5-day Day Camps experiences for youth living in Peel who receive support from Kerry’s Place. The overnight camp takes place at a Scouts Canada property. All three Adventures will provide an exciting and educational outdoor program with trained counselors to encourage and support Children while at camp, and at the same time provide invaluable respite support for the families involved. Help send youth living with Autism Spectrum Disorder to camp with Scouts Canada. Make a difference in a Young person’s life!
You don’t need to be a regular golfer (thought you are welcome if you are!) to have a lot of fun at this event. The format this year is “Best Ball” which means that you get to pick the best shot (your partner’s or your’s)! Bring a partner, or a foursome, or we can set you up with a group!
At the end of your round there is an excellent catered BBQ banquet and prizes for all. Your registration fee includes the round of golf, meal, and a number of added prize activities. Don’t golf? That is ok too, you can still attend the dinner at a lower cost. Still can’t attend? We’re are also looking for any sources of prizes or sponsorship interest you can may know.
Please spread the word to friends, spouses, colleagues, neighbours and anyone else you can think of – we need your help and support.
