Calling all Venturers, Rovers and Scouters! Do you like Pokémon? Are you looking for a great opportunity the second week of June? Are you excited for warmer weather? Silly questions, I’m sure you’d answer YES to all three!
The 2017 Central Escarpment Cuboree is looking for OOS to help with activities during the camp. That’s not all though! Helping out at the camp leads to a couple of fun perks – there will be a movie night on the Friday night for all OOS, and a Just Dance night on the Saturday.

Camp Everton Spring Clean-up

Hi to all

Spring is sprunging (word play depicting a verb “of sorts”).

We are having our annual spring clean-up at Everton Saturday, April 29th starting at 8:30 am and running until about 3 pm.

We have a few of the same activities around forestry (splitting, cutting and chipping)

Cleaning Wheeler and the pool to ready it for filling.

We had to make some repairs to our firewood storage shed so all the wood we split last fall will be placed inside.

We are planning to plant wildflowers to attract and promote healthy honey bee populations;

Transplant several cedar trees from our nursery on the side hill to the field by Wheeler and replace the ash trees we harvested last fall lost to the Emerald Ash Borer.  Those stumps were removed last week.

Please let Kevin Donovan know by Friday, April 21st  if your group can attend and the numbers for lunch. Reply to kdonovan@donovaninsurance.com.
