Popcorn Fill it Up Contest – deadline Oct 23rd

That’s right! If you are selling Scout Popcorn this year, simply submit your
filled up order sheets to your group leader by October 23 and you will
receive one ticket for each form. This offer is available to youth in the
Greater Toronto, Shining Waters and Central Escarpment Councils. One random Fill It Up winner from each of these three councils will also win an
autographed Toronto Argonauts Souvenir!

Purchase extra tickets for $15 – If you need additional tickets for your
family, you can purchase more tickets for this discounted price. A web page where you can purchase your tickets will be available soon.

Wellington Venturer Tim White in Scouting Life

Congratulations to Wellington Venturer Tim White, for being featured in the Nov/Dec Scouting Life issue.  Look for him in the From Far & Wide column for his long term achievements in Scouting.

Sleepover at the Kitchener Children’s Museum

The Children’s Museum in downtown Kitchener is hosting a Sleepover for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts Friday November 27th – 28th, 2009. Special program is “GPS Adventures”.  Registration details are on the North Waterloo website – HERE .  Begin the night by exploring all of the exciting exhibits the museum has to offer.  Then, become a navigator and use your own skills, and the help from your friends, to find your way back on course!  Discover how navigation has changed, from the compass, to the high tech GPS.  Top the night off with a campfire! In the morning you’ll get to leave with a unique GPS badge and the memories of a great night!
